My palomino horse, Savannah's Beau Skip (Beau), began getting small tumors
on his neck about 6 years ago. It seemed that every vet and horse person had something different to tell me
concerning how to get rid of them, but nothing ever helped.
Two years ago, I began a nutrition program that consisted of only natural supplements to help boost his
immune system - hoping that he could fight off the tumors on his own. Almost immediately, the tumors began
to shrink from the size of a man's thumb to the size of my little finger - but they still were not going
away.
I had heard about The Equine Touch and how it helps the body balance itself, and it seemed to compliment
the program that I had chosen for Beau. Pam Cantwell did E.T. once a week on Beau for four weeks. Each
week, one tumor in particular seemed to be getting larger, but about week three, the base of the tumor
began shrinking! It appeared that Beau's body was doing what I had hoped for all along - he was rejecting
the tumor on his own! During week four, the tumor became real bloody and looked like a big open wound
. . . and then it fell off his body! I found the tumor in the barn and had it sent to
Texas A&M where it was diagnosed as a very rare form of equine cancer. Because the vets at Texas
A&M had not seen many of these cases, they had no explanation for the tumor falling off except that
Beau's body was healthy enough to reject it.
Jamie started working on Beau after she began The Equine Touch training. After four or five sessions with
Jamie, another tumor followed the same process and fell off, too. We are continuing with a session about
once a week, and still another tumor under his ear is working its way off Beau's body.
Beau has not had any conventional medicines in over two years, yet he is healthier now than ever before. He
is 20 years old and retired from barrel racing, but he is not ready to grow old just yet! With the natural
supplements and The Equine Touch, it looks like my best friend will be with me for many more years!
Thanks Pam and Jamie!

Our horse Stormy has always been very calm and kid-proof. My 10-year-old
daughter barrel raced on her, and she has also been used in children's lessons. Our horse began acting up
last fall, after performing very well in a local rodeo.
Over the next few months, she became progressively worse and was evaluated several times. She started
acting aggressive to other horses and began behaving so badly that we pulled her out of lessons. She needed
to be pushed for even simple riding. We tried having more experienced riders ride her, thinking that she
had just gotten lazy and needed a rider that would remind her to behave. She also became increasingly
skittish at moving objects and loud noises.
One of people at the barn noticed that she was very sore along her back and back legs. It was at this time
that we discovered Jamie and Equine Touch. Since the only prognosis we had was that our horse was sore, it
seemed that Equine Touch might be able to work out her soreness. Jamie agreed to come to our barn and
perform Equine Touch.
Stormy responded quickly to Jamie and was obviously less sore and irritable. However, by Jamie's 3rd visit,
Jamie was concerned. She noted that Stormy might have an injury of some kind for her therapy to not have
had more results. Then Jamie began to work the area around our horse's right stifle. Stormy kicked out her
leg, and jumped like she had been startled.
After going to our Veterinarian to address her stifle problem, Stormy finally began to recover and is now
fine and back to her old self.
It was the horse-sensitive approach used in the Equine Touch procedures that led Jamie to so quickly find
the problem that had eluded us for months.
So, whether you are looking to add to your horse's performance or looking to bring her back up to her
previous performance level, I believe that Equine Touch could help your horse.

Jamie has been working on "M", my 16.3h Dutch Warmblood Hunter, for about
two months now. She has a gentle, relaxed approach that I really like, and "M" really enjoys his sessions
with her. After "M" has processed Jamie's session, he feels more fluid and relaxed than ever before. It's
like he's floating on air! And Jamie has shown me some basic techniques and stretches that I can perform on
"M" myself daily. Jamie Shelton and The Equine Touch have become an important part of our maintenance
program.

I had a tension headache that just wouldn't quit - regardless of
medication. After three days of listening to me complain, Jamie asked if she could try something she'd
recently learned pertaining to the muscular-skeletal system in horses. I could tell by her expression that
I was radiating skepticism which was compounded when she stepped behind me, lightly touched the base of my
neck and walked away. I thought she was either giving up or forgot what she intended to do! Her "treatment"
didn't last a full minute! Well, before Jamie could sit back down, the headache was gone. I can't explain
it and I won't pretend to try-but that headache was gone.
Since that day, I've used my interpretation of this method to relieve my husband's headache and
surprisingly, even my own. It's amazing- amazingly effective.

My mom has always been, in my opinion, the greatest rodeo mom EVER. While
she is not a world renowned barrel racer, she has always done everything within her power to help me in
whatever way I needed help. As a college student and member of the Texas A&M rodeo team, her help has
certainly been asked for! Whether it was meeting me at my college rodeos freshman year or taking the horses
to "grandma's house" this year when I had a week of hard tests, she never hesitated or complained about my
trials and tribulations in the world of college rodeos.
I believe that her greatest contribution to my rodeo career was the step to become a certified Equine Touch
practitioner. My yellow horse was considered finished due to arthritic problems after qualifying me for the
High School National Finals, but came back to win the Regional Playoffs in Hobb, NM and qualify me for the
2003 College National Finals. A HUGE part of his ability to come back and continue winning for me is the
body work that she regularly performs on him. He always warms up better for me when my mom has stretched
and done body work on him. What is even more amazing is the complete turnaround she completed with my newer
bay horse. His attitude has completely changed, he is an entirely different horse due to her "touch". Just
recently I ran a tenth off of my yellow horse on him (with a wide first barrel) to win 3rd at a barrel race
in Belton, TX. My yellow horse won the barrel race that day.
While my opinion could be construed as completely biased, I honestly believe that the Equine Touch can and
has done wonders for uptight horses everywhere. If for no other benefit at all, it helps horses to relax.
Every horse works better when they are happy, and I guarantee that my horses are some of the happiest you
will find.

I heard about Jamie's Equine Touch on April 27, 2004. I remember the date
because I picked up AwaywithYou aka "Neo" from my dad. Along with his papers and coggins, my dad handed me
a certificate (2 FREE sessions for Jamie's Equine Touch) that he had bought at a Texas High School Rodeo
Raffle. I thought "Well, Okay, maybe later, when I have time…" but my step-mother, Yvonne insisted
that "Neo really likes it" and that I really needed to take him over to Jamie. "Okay, Okay" - I called
Jamie and set up an appointment. In the meantime, I went to her website (www.jamieshelton.com) and looked
up some information on The Equine Touch. I thought to myself, "HHHMMMM, we'll see".
On May 18, we loaded up and headed to Jaime's place. I showed up with 3 horses, Neo, Flash and Jetty, not
just one. Jaime just laughed and started to work. I figured if Equine Touch worked than it might as well
work on all my horses.
Jetty and Flash, 22 years old each, run barrels, poles and breakaway for my oldest daughter. They are
hauled every weekend, and it was taking toll. Flash was balking at the gate, and Jetty was pulling off
barrels. Over the past 4 months their times have consistently improved, and they are playing in the pasture
again! They feel fantastic!!
Neo was a different story. . . . For over a year he had been running inconsistently; he was staying sore
after running barrels for several days. He was not staying focused, because he was scared he would hurt
during his runs. After 5 months of Jamie's Equine Touch, he is inhaling barrels and running harder than
ever. He has won several large jackpots and placed at NIRA rodeos. He's very confident in his body not
hurting anymore.
During this past 5 months, Jamie has spent hours with MyKayla (my oldest daughter) and myself showing us
how to do "touchies" and stretches and has never tired of our questions.
All I can say for Jamie and The Equine Touch is "WOW - What a Difference". She has all of our horses
running harder, playing harder and feeling better than ever. I have also found a wonderful and dear friend
who makes my horses feel good - HAHA!!
Thanks!

Shustar and I love coming to see you and Dr. Ward. I know it is doing
Shustar a lot of good. It is so interesting to watch you both do your magic and it is really fun to see all
of Shustar's expressions as he is "processing". I don't think I would be riding Shustar if I hadn't started
chiropractic. My previous vet had painted a pretty bleak picture of Shustar's arthritis, but your positive
attitude and loving touch has helped Shustar immensely.
You are always so cheerful, even when Trish and I get there right at the end of the evening. The kindness
and generosity of your free clinics is really unbelievable. Thank you so much. You are both angels sent
from above!
With much gratitude,

I have had Max for 5 years now. Madalyn Ward, DVM has been working on him
since I bought him with some amazing results. When I first got him he had no withers and was 15.2 hands in
the front and 16.2 hands in the butt. Max and I do dressage and he has been great. Then we started working
on some third level movement, and he started having problems again. A friend recommended that I bring Max
to First Tuesday. Madalyn worked on his shoulders again and then asked that Jamie work on him. She did, and
I was amazed at how Max responded right away to what she was doing. I then had Jamie come out on for some
regular sessions. Max got better and better all the time. One day I went to saddle him and thought he
looked taller. I asked someone at the barn for a measuring stick, and they said, "Max is nine years old and
there is no way he is taller." I agreed but wanted to see for myself. Well sure enough when we measured him
he was now 16 hands in the front and 16.2 hands in the back. He has stayed 16 hands for over three months
now, and I feel better and better about him all the time. He is happy and knickers when he sees Jamie,
which he does not do for me.
Thanks Jamie and everyone else for all you do on First Tuesday.

Gosh, where do I begin….
I had a "feeling" that my horse, Shade, had a headache and perhaps a stomachache for quite a while. Well,
as you know, it's kinda' hard to go to the vet with a "feeling", but I did. The vet said that he was in
great condition and did not show any signs or symptoms either. So off I went thinking he's OK and I'm
making up stories, evidently.
Well - I heard about the "free clinic" for horses on the first Tuesday of the month that Madalyn Ward and
Jamie Shelton, et al, were doing. So I went. I thought, what the heck, what do I have to lose? If I may
back up a bit, Shade has always been a tad aloof. Although he likes attention, don't go asking too much
from him. He has his 'druthers, believe me.
So I show up and Jamie puts hands on Shade and instantly puts him into a "coma". He is so chilled out and
relaxed that he can't even eat! The most difficult part for me was to leave my hands off him. He's standing
there and I can't even pet him. What a challenge!
Shade enjoyed his "coma" for a bit until Madalyn came along. I told her what I had been feeling about Shade
and attempted to explain that I really had nothing to back up my feelings, but have at it. She proceeded to
work on him and found that he, in fact, did have a bit of distress in his stomach, that he had TMJ
(transmandibular joint syndrome - of which I am very familiar, having had it myself) and he was out at the
poll AND how could he NOT have a headache! He was also out in his sacral area. I thought he was stiff in
the hocks, but that didn't pan out, as it was actually his sacral area. So Madalyn did her magic on Shade,
worked on his right groin (which evidently had been wrought with adhesions since he was gelded - 10 yrs.
ago!), and worked on his head.
He went through a lot that first treatment. They told me to give him 3-4 days off from riding (the usual is
1-2) because he had had so much done, but that we could do some ground work in a couple of days. Well - I
cannot even begin to describe the difference in my friend by the second day! He has always greeted me at
the gate or fence when I got to the barn, but when I arrived on that second day, oh my! He came to me with
energy in his step, ears pricked forward, very nice, relaxed expression on his face, soft eye and acted
like he was genuinely glad to see me! You know I liked that!
We did some groundwork and some liberty work and he was absolutely superb! Oh my gosh! I had NEVER seen him
move so beautifully! He absolutely floated in the air as he trotted by! It truly brought a tear to my eye -
it was that different! His attitude was so much lighter and he was so much more willing and responsive. I
just can't even say enough of what a positive difference the FIRST treatment did for my Shade. It was truly
remarkable. And the best part, it continues to this day.
I've taken him back several times since and he has done nothing but get even better! His attitude is
markedly improved, our communication has grown exponentially and I truly think he does not have headaches
any more! One of my buddies watched him during that first session and remarked that he just didn't look
like he was angry at the world any more. Since I've started bringing Shade to these gals, his attitude has
improved, we've made serious progress in our journey and I think we are truly closer in our relationship. I
just cannot say enough good about what Madalyn and Jamie and the gang are doing. I'm a believer 100%!
Thanks to you both for helping my beloved horse, Shade (and me!). I know he appreciates it and so do I.
Thanks.

I purchased Amora just over 2 years ago as a barrel racing prospect. She had
been badly abused, was terrified of everything and her body was hurting. When I would ride her, it had to
be inside an arena, as she would come completely unglued. She never bucked or kicked, but she would go into
a panic as soon as I got on her. She would run sideways, backwards, you name it. If you tried to bring her
into the arena alley, she would lock her legs and not move. If she hit a barrel, she would freeze-up. I
would have to get off and lead her out of the arena. You could see the fear in her eyes waiting for someone
to hit her. I knew this was going to be a long road, but she had something special in her. God put us
together for a reason.
I immediately started taking Amora to the First Tuesday Clinic in Georgetown. I heard about the clinic
through Madalyn Ward who had performed network chiropractic on my other horses. I had never heard of Equine
Touch until I met Jamie. She told me the advantages of E.T. and how it works. When Jamie & Madalyn
first started working on Amora, they couldn't get anywhere near her head and she would sit back constantly.
She was sore everywhere. We changed her diet, putting her on Noni Juice, Essentials and a few other natural
supplements. After many months of trying different things, physically & in the training arena, Amora
started getting better. They are now able to work her entire body and her mind is also healing. Jamie,
Madalyn and Paula Cable (horse massage therapist) continued to work on her and we started seeing this
wonderful horse overcome her abuse.
It took a lot of time and patience to get her mind & body balanced, let alone "race ready". Sometimes I
wondered if that day would ever come. At the beginning of this year, I started racing her. She started
running 3D times and quickly moved to the 2D. She is now running some 1D times and we even won our first
rodeo performance at the Stonewall Rodeo! We ended up 4th overall after slack. I was overwhelmed with
emotion when I heard our time and that we had won. We would never have gone this far without the help of
the wonderful women at the First Tuesday Clinic - Jamie, Madalyn & Paula and my mentors Kelly &
Connie Porch. Thank you so much for your time, effort, education and support. We love you all!!

Jamie donated a gift certificate for “Jamie’s Equine
Touch” to the Central Texas Hunter/Jumpers Associations’ annual banquet, for their silent
auction. I don’t know if Jamie knows this, but there was a bidding war over her certificate and it
literally came down to the last second of the silent auction to determine the winner. I must tell you
several barn Moms at MRS had heard how wonderful Jamie was and we were determined to win that certificate
for our daughters and their horses, and we DID!
The girls and horses were scheduled to go to the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, so we arranged it where Jamie
could come to the barn right before the horses left for Katy. Everything I had heard about Jamie was true.
Jamie is one of those rare people that when you meet her, you instantly feel as though she’s been
your friend forever! And, the horses felt the same way!
I was so impressed; Jamie took the time to talk with the girls about their horses and listened intently as
they explained what was going on with each horse. As Jamie started with a horse she would tell us what she
was doing and what she was feeling as she went through the sequences of Equine Touch. As we sat there
watching our horses respond by licking, chewing, yawning and actually going to sleep, she answered every
question we had without hesitation, no matter how “stupid” the question was! Jamie took the
time to show each one of the girls how to stretch their horses so they would be more fluid when they
moved.
At Pin Oak, my daughter Alexis and her 19 year old horse, Geneva Bay, nailed their first round! It was such
a beautiful round that when Alexis and GB left the ring her trainer was crying at the end gate, they were
awesome. She and GB continued on that path all weekend, it was truly priceless. Another fabulous horse, At
Last, (which I am so proud to say, is Alexis’ new team member) was Champion of the Children’s
Modified Division. In fact, all the horses that Jamie massaged earlier in the week either won their
division or were in the top ribbons.
Jamie has the background, knowledge, integrity and the TOUCH to help any horse and rider achieve their
optimum potential.
Jamie, you’re the best!

I bought Magnum two years ago from a girl who had burned him out,
meaning that all she did was run and run and run him. Magnum was a 12 year old Appendix who, mentally, had
fallen apart. A wonderful woman named Claudia brought me and Magnum to the clinic. The first day Magnum
would not let people near him; we had to take him out to the road and had people on all sides of him in
order to keep him straight for Dr. Ward, but he kept backing up. Now, two years later, Magnum looks forward
to coming to the clinic and stands still, mostly.
I have been able to really see a difference in Magnum's personality and body composition since coming to
the clinic; they informed me my saddle did not fit correctly and when I switched saddles, he started
looking forward to riding. His withers have thickened out and he has been able to learn that hauling
somewhere is not a scary experience and doesn't mean that someone will run the snot out of him and hit him
for being scared. Thanks to Dr. Ward's helpful tips on riding and Jamie's continued support, Magnum and I
have become a much more trusting and in tune team.
Thanks to all people at the clinic who have ever helped me or Magnum.

As a life long horse lover I have always wanted to do the best
for my horses. My best girl Summer is a happy, healthy, 18 year old Quarter Horse. This, I feel, has much
do to meeting Jamie Shelton and Dr. Madalyn Ward.
In 2003, at 15, Summer had to have colic surgery. The surgery saved her life but left her with physical
issues, such as a hip that is higher than the other and poor internal functions due to the stresses of
surgery and recovery. With the help and suggestions from Jamie and Madalyn, Summer has made huge strides in
her comfort level. She really looks forward to Jamie's personal attention during her "equine touch time".
Summer is a very sensitive horse. In fact, she does not want anyone else to do it and gets upset if anyone
dares to interrupt Jamie. And yes, Summer is spoiled! At the suggestion of Jamie and Madalyn, Summer is on
the Simplexity Health APA blend. Her whole body and coat look wonderful! Her "higher" hip is closer to the
other now and her bad internal problems are a thing of the past.
I feel blessed to have met both Jamie and Madalyn and I know Summer feels the same.
